April club night this Wednesday (4th) is the auction in aid of our chosen charity, The Alzheimer's Society.

To give you a flavour of what's on offer so far, we have 15 different posters (40" x 30") of various models including Cayman S, 997 Turbo, 997 GT3 RS (many of these are for sale on e-bay at £10 or more). We also have a 4 part set of model evolution from 1948 - 2006 which is on e-bay for £200! There are also various books, models, T-shirts and promotional items. All of these have been kindly donated by Porsche Centre Sheffield.

More items will be provided by Strasse and other members on the night. If you can't donate something , bring along plenty of cash so that you can make those winning bids!

Thanks again to all who donated items for the auction, especially Strasse and Sheffield OPC, to all the bidders and to The Owl who let us have the function room for free. Most items were sold leaving only a few bits and pieces for raffle prizes later in the year.

The auction raised £321 and the raffle £59, making a total of £380 which we will be sending to The Alzheimer's Society in the next few days.

It was great to have such a good attendance, including new members and people we haven't seen for a while. Thanks to all for making it a successful event.

That's a decent amount
