April Meeting 4th April, Coopers Arms, Weston On Trent

Hi Phil,

hoping to make it along tomorrow for my first R8 meeting. Do you meet in the bar or do you use one of the other rooms? What's the format?

hope your evening went well Phil, there were several new faces infact the small conservatory is feeling a bit cramped maybe you could ask them for our bigger room back ???
 
hi Andy,
Phil got a very exciting job offer so couldn't make the meeting so i knocked out a few photos and Larry did a bit of a talk about the Porsche club festival at Brandshatch at the end of August.

about 20 Porsches in the car Park of every sort was great to see, can't wait for the lighter evenings so we can admire them more.

You mentioned in the last PP you were looking for a second meeting place nearer Leicester, what area are you looking for?

I only ask cause I was talking to the guv'nor of the Wheatsheaf in Woodhouse Eves (nr Loughborough) last night and he would be only to happy to have the club meet there.

Parking for about fifty cars but fairly small pub (nice food tho'), thought it might be useful for better weather?

Give me a shout if you want directions and stuff

Hi Rob

Unfortunately, the closeness of Woodhouse Eves to Weston on Trent make the venue a little too close and defeats the object a little as we are looking for a venue in the Great Glen, Kibworth, Market Harborough, Lutterworth area.

btw, spoke to the bodyshop you recommended, doesn't like 911's much does he? Taking for a quote sometime.

Took it one step further and once I have received an email from their head office in confirmation, then everyone in any GSF in UK will get discount with their membership card.
