ARB end bushes

I'm finally getting round to fitting my M030 front ARB which has been collecting dust in my garage for a few months now. I have the two mid rubber bushes but do I need new bushes at the ARB ends or does the bar dia taper down to the same? Is the part number of this item the same?

Also will I need to change brackets the two mid bushes fit into?

I'm not bothering with the rear ARB as it's the same as the non-M030 944 Turbo ARB - so if anyone wants it...

Cheers.

I think it will taper down to the same OD as the one you have on, but you should still replace them with new ones.

I just did the two "middle" bushes (After 155K miles) The brackets didnt need replacing.

From what i can remember the end bushes are / have a bigger hole in them..So the answer would be yes replace them...
No you dont need to replace the "central" brakets they are the same..

What diameter is the rear one.???? That you have "spare".

They are 18mm dia. According to my workshop manual M030 doesn't include the rear ARB so 18mm dia ARB is fitted to both M030 and non-M030 Turbo's (and S2's i'd guess). But in May '89 they reduced the Turbo's rear ARB to 16mm dia.
