Are 911's common as muck??!!

Yes certainly around these parts, at least 10 x 997s at my health club. And every time I do one of my Reading runs all I see are other 997s on the road (a very nice white cab Turbo, abeit driven by an idiot on the last run). I suppose it doesn't help that Porsche GB and OPC Reading are just around the corner from me though...

That sounds like some sort of Porsche Club meeting! Are you sure it wasn't? Not so common around here either - in fact they're pretty rare. Which made it all that much weirder when I encountered a burnt orange Koenigsegg parked quite haphazardly on the bloody curb the other day! I nearly crashed. That would have made it one less in my area![&:]

I don't live in the affluent south, however yesterday I pulled into the golf club car park and counted 6 997's and 2 996's 3 Boxsters and a Cayman! infact there were more 997's than any other car model and more Porsches than any other make.

Time to get a Maserati! [;)]

Well if your south of Manchester (Cheshire) or in Yorkshire, every time I drive up to either I see loads of them around mostly modern 996/7, Cayenne's, Cayman and Boxsters. There are a fir few around Essex too it must be said but not as many as I see up north [:D]

Yorkshire, Gods county! by'eck its grim up north. [:)]

Don't get me wrong I love my car esp with the PSE "unplugged" it sounds fantastic.[:D] But surely every PH must love seeing a Maser GT as it's beautiful in everyway....one day I will have one and enjoy watching 997's race past! My post title was abit tongue in cheek [;)]

Is it because you can't get two people and two sets of golf clubs into a 911??? [:)] [if you can, can someone let me know how [;)] I *do* live in the affluent south (well sort of) but I've never seen a Porsche in the car park (it would never survive the potholed drive and car park!).

I was in a convoy with a lovely C2S convertible on the way home this evening they're bloody everywhere! [:D]

I driven over 100 miles today around Devon and not seen one! We certainly have a lot more muck than 911's and most of it is on the roads, especially during the Winter months, courtesy of our thoughtful farmers.[:(] The recent 997 Register event down this way has got all the tongues wagging - in a nice way too![:)]

They're all over the place in south Manchester, and as for Cayennes, you can't move for them!!

Ah, now I see the problem! You need to move to an area a long way from any Premiership footy club![:D] I think my nearest is over 200 miles..........[;)] (If you don't count Portsmouth and they are not for much longer anyway!)

Ha! believe me there aren't any in Yorkshire anymore! [] I think its the cheap housing it means we've got more to spend[:)]

A couple of months ago a couple of boys were admiring my Cayman and said they had never seen one on the road, but Boxsters were as "common as muck" where we live (Thames Valley). Out of the mouth of babes etc. [:D]

It's getting silly now. Monday night convoy home with Panamera 4S, Tuesday night convoy with C2S convertible. Tonight it was a most achingly beautiful midnight blue 993 C2S it looked in better nick than my 8 month old Gen2 and was absolutely bloody gorgeous.......[8D]
