Are the 986 & 987 boot shapes the same?

Don't think so but my experience was 986 Boxster vs 987 Cayman - the well at the back was a slightly different shape. If you don't get a 986 vs 987 Boxster answer on here try asking on the 986 or 987 sections of Boxa.net - very active.

I'm looking for a 986 boot liner and I've seen one for an early 987 which looks like the same size and shape.

can anyone confirm the early 987 boot shape / size is the same as the late 986

Update

I've established that the 2005/06 987 boot floor is NOT the same as that on a 2004 986...despite looking the same

(The boot liner listed for a 2005/06 987 lays flat in a 986 but the shape is not correct for the boot floor.)
