Are the radiators covered?

childish

New member
My 996 is currently being serviced and they having been trying to find fix an air con problem but have discovered that left radiator is leaking. They say it is due to leave corrosion and it will need replacing. Are the radiators covered in the warranty?

depends on what sort of a day the opc is having.......[8|] you will find some get it and some don't , argue the leaf build up is a design fault

Thanks for reply guys. It always seems that they have to balance the cost of any other warranty work but regardless of consistency. I will argue my case later today!! []

I got my car back yesterday and one of the radiators has been replaced under warranty and I didn't even know it was leaking [&:]

Both Mine were done under warranty and my car was 8+ years old they didn't even tell me until i went to collect it that they had been done. They should pay for it. Phil

I've had both water AND air-con radiators replaced under warranty (on separate occassions). Mine is 8 years old as well and I ddn't know they were leaking either!

[]The problem is that the warranty policy doesn't mention if the radiators are covered or excluded. It doesn’t mention corrosion either but I suppose they cover themselves by ‘wear and tear’.
