Are there any good Porsche specialists in the Fylde area?

Hi there,

I've just recently got myself a 911 and was wondering whether there are any Porsche specialists in the Fylde area? I've seen a note about a great guy in Bolton but was hoping there might be someone a bit closer to home.

I'm also experiencing backfiring when the car is idling or slowing down to a stop, the popping noises vary in volume. It's an '88 - could it be the quality of the fuel or will a simple retuning sort it out?

Many thanks in advance,

Amy

Hi Amy
There are no Porsche specialists in the Fylde area, I have lived at Little Eccleston for 10 years and not heard of any,
The nearest person who may be able help you is Graham Green at Longridge who specialises in Porsche restoration and repair on 07860 119969. He should be able to help you, and whilst you are there its great to see the various Porsche in various stages of restoration.

Otherwise the next closest is:
1 Classic Car Workshop in Coppull nr Wigan (01257 471028)
2 Loe Bank Motors near Bury (01706 8260600)
3 Hartech in Bolton 07000 100 944

Good luck

I can recommend Hartech - we've taken our 944 and 993 there and get really good service at a good price and they really now what they are talking about
