Any information or comments most welcome.

A friend from the VW world is selling them and we are having an 'argument' about their origins.

hmmm they look it but as for what year I can understand the numbers I will have to check my book either way what size if the tyre

and do you have 4 I could be interested for my car. I'm looking for steels

Thank you for the response
I will ask the guy who is selling. I think he does have 4

He has another set which we think are Lemmerz. I will try and get pictures of this second set up.

no idea what they are actually from, but 1966 beetles had wide 5 rims with the slots , as I think 67's did ( except the 4 stud 1500 '67s with disc front brakes ).

Thanks James
Yup wide 5's are used a lot on various VW - but these are not VW - the slot pattern is wrong.

There are some very very good parts anoraks over in VW world and they say they are not Type 1, 2 or 3.

Our conclusion was - who else other than Porsche used 5 x 205pcd rims, made by Lemmertz?

The dates are a little older than 356 production - but could have been made for spares.

They will have made spares. You have to be careful whether the wheels dated 11 67 are for disc brake or drum brake cars.
Are they still for sale?

Yes they are all for sale - as stated befoe - not by me.
I am happy to pass you details on to the chap who is selling.
Do you have an email you can post? Doesn't this forum have a private channel for this sort of stuff?
