Aren't new hatch struts brilliant!!

Don't you even have to push the button :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I need some new ones on my Turbo now - it only opens fully on warm days (or if I have the centre vents on full blast hot for a few minutes to warm the back of the car)

I was always fed up with my boot not opening on the button with my old struts and now I agree they work great from the button.[:)]

Chaps, when your hatches were not opening, were they lifting at all or was the hatch just unlocking?

God how i hate them, EVER time i crack my head on them,,[8|][8|][8|][][]

mine wasnt lifting at all and with new struts there is enough spring to lift away from the lock.

mine was lifting a few mm - then one strut failed & it didn't lift at all. Now it opens fully [:D]

Now realise I need new tailgate struts, they hold the gate open but need to be raised manually after unlocking with either the key or on the switch, Didn't know they would open all the way on the switch.

I replaced the bonnet ones after the lid closed on my head while checking the oil

Just under £50 from Bert - now I just need to fit the new hatch seal (and my setrab oil cooler arrived today [:D])
