just had new cd fitted but radio reception not good.checked with guy who fitted it and he said that there is a suppy to the boosted behind the clock.has anybody got any ideas?

There is an aerial booster behind the clock. This is where the inscreen aerial plugs into.
Should be a coax and small wire running from this to the radio.
Fiddly little b*****d to work with if you need to put a new cable in, both the coax and power are soldered to the booster box, needs dash removal as originally it's clipped to the wiring loom behind the clocks.
fyi, I've just fitted a new head unit, had a new aerial and power lead from an OPC fitted to the booster box and my radio reception is still sh1te. Will try to sort over the winter and will post if I do. If I don't then cd's it is from now on.
