Arrival of new born baby & car changes!

The good lady wife delivered our first baby 2 weeks ago, a gorgeous little girl weighing in at 6lb 12ozs whom we've named Megan Lily!

As suspsected, neither of our cars ('05 997 C2S and '04 Mini Cooper S) proved to be capable of transporting the three of us and all the baby stuff!

The good news is that I managed to convince my wife that it was a better option to swap the Mini for something a bit more practical...

This resulted in me buying my first 4 door car! And it's a diesel too! It's a BMW 330d in black with beige leather, and I'm sad to say I absolutely love it! I wish it was the Touring version, but other than that it is spot on for what we need

Congratulations on the new baby. Pity I didn't know that you wanted a 330d Touring as I am trading mine in for a 997S!

Congratulations.

Pleased that you've chosen the purity of rear wheel drive, and the best diesels are brilliant for road use.

Congrats on the baby and excellent choice of vehicle, BMW diesels are the best in the business, my last one was the awesome 535d.

I'm sure you will get great pleasure from both of your new arrivals !

Ian,

Please don't tell me it's Black with Beige leather and on an '05 to '06 plate!

It's on an 05 plate but is silver grey with black leather. Has bluetooth and privacy glass as well as normal 330 spec such as 18" M Sport wheels, spoiler and sills, multi function steering wheel, auto wipers, park assist, cruise, control etc. Warranty until May 2008 and 5 year maintenance package. It's actually gone now as I picked up my 997 at the weekend but as far as I know it's still at the dealers. If you're tempted, I'll tell you who to get in touch with!
