Article in Dec Porsche Post - 928 Register, p100

Hi, the above article includes mention of "Porsche T4-type higher boiling temperature" brake fluid. I can't find mention of this on line so is it a Porsche approved product, what are its wet/dry boiling points and will Porsche centres substitute it for the recommended standard fluid?

Motul RBF600 is one of the best IMHO.

Many thanks for your response and attached picture of the product in question. What confused me was the comment in the article which said it was a "Porsche T4 - higher boiling temperature version". Surely the DOT4 fluid you have shown me is the standard product? Steve

I suppose he was told that it was higher boiling point than DOT3, which was what was previously specified in the earlier years of 928 production.
I still can't see the picture in the post, but obviously you can, so I'll leave it as it is.

Hi Smiffy, I had not realised that DOT3 was originally specified for the 928 so it all makes sense now. Thank you for clarifying and apologies for wasting your time through my lack of knowledge! Steve
