Asthetic Issue.

Has anyone ever had to straighten the slats under the front bumper?

I'm laying my car up over next winter and would like to straighten these out. It's obviously been curbed.

Is the front bumper easily removed?

Advise please.

There's a good write-up on John Miles' site here. You don't have to remove the bumper to do it.

Yes it affects many cars and is easily fixed as Dave has pointed out. We refer to it as the 964 frown (when it's bent) or 964 smile (when it's fixed). []

Well it worked...to a degree...[&o]

Due to the plastic mesh grill behind the air intake suffering a previous collision with a pheasant, it is damaged & won't clip properly in to the horizontal bar.

I've got rid of my sad face but I'm left with a slightly lobsided grimace unfortunately. Will have to have another go at that when I've got more time. Also, I'm short of a number of washers.

Presumably replacing that grill will mean a bumper off job?
