At last I have take the big step in life and bought myself a 944S on a 88 plate, it comes with a reasonable service history but this does run a bit scanty after 77,000 and is now on a 113,000. From what I can see it runs well but req a good service. So my first question is who is the cheapest supplier of Porsche service paraphernalia, what is the requirements with the cam belt? It defiantly suffers form a lazzzzy starter but does fire after a few turns, is this a common problem and can it be rectified easily, also where can I get a heater resistor?Other than that it only needs a good clean ready for the winter break and in the spring I will treat myself to a set of alloys (probably none Porsche), where what do you recommend? Thanks!
