Atlas Grey

Does anyone know why Porsche have stopped doing Atlas Grey on their new 997.2? I can't see it on their Car Configurator page....?

Thanks.

Adrian.

Probably in preparation of the model changeover. I guess you could always specify it as a colour to sample, which notably is also missing from the configurator.

I can remember when Atlas grey was available as a 'Metallic Colour' then moved to 'Special Colour' in 2008 adding around 900 pounds to its' cost.

Hi and thanks! The reason that I ask is that I'm looking at a used 997.2 in Atlas which was registered around late 2008. It also has the 'old' type three spoke steering wheel (non-multifunction) which I thought that they had fazed out with the old 997.1...?

Maybe they had some spare ones left over...?! [;)]

I currently have an Atlas Grey 997 C4S and really like Atlas Grey as a colour choice. I noticed on the configurator that it wasn't available on the Gen 2 911 except as a special order, and I personally wouldn't spend that much extra on paint.

I'm not such a big fan of Meteor Grey (which i think is the closest alternative on the current car), so I'm hoping that they re-introduce Atlas for the new 911, or even better, introduce Carbon Grey which I recently saw on a Panamera in the showroom, which looked great!
