Good afternoon - I am gatecrashing from the Cayenne forum to highlight a serious issue afflicting V8 (inc. S/4S/Turbo) Panamera engines used in production between 4 July 2009 and 13 September 2011 (model years 2009 through 2011) - faulty camshaft controllers leading to potential/sudden engine failure in Cayennes & Panameras; 18k cars currently subject to a safety recall in the US/Canada. It may also affect V6 engines too, but I am not sure.
Title on the Cayenne post as follows - if you own a Panamera built in this period, I urge you to read the thread (not least as the failure more typically affects Panameras for some reason, even though they share the same engine). Thank you.
