Attention Mark K turbo for sale

I cant get hold of you on your phone Mark but you still have first refusal on the turbo as agreed. However I need to sell some bits I have to raise some cash. So if anyones interested please email me. I have:

Never used Lindsey Racing Super 75 (which has had some additional machining work to improve the ballance etc including re-grinding of the shaft and high speed ballancing of components to 0.6g at 70,000rpm from 1.75g out of the box)

http://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/944TURBOSSUPER.html

£800 + postage

Never used intercooler designed for front mounting. Flows over 1000cfm, polished finish and fits between the front bumper and chassis but will require additional intercooler hosing and modification/moving of the two main front bumper mounting points to fit. You will also need to cut through the thin metal fins under the badge panel either side of the original intercooler to fit so best suited only to someone who wants to go really big!

£250 + postage (or buyer collects)

Probably loads more but will add them in the parts for sale section when I think of them.

Regards,

Ben

Hi Ben!
I got ur email on my phone and was going to get back to you, this sounds lame I know but it has been non stop for me past few weeks....
Just got Red Turbo back from from Mssrs Promax and son,It goes back once a year to be checked and fettled, compression is mint and it his holding it's big boost just great, with belts and fluids done also, absolutely chuffed to bits....goes like stink!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Thanks for thinking of me as u promised but with the healthy bill from Promax and preparing for next years racing I am a bit tight at the minute...also red car seems to be running ok turbo wise(he says fingers crossed).....
I am sure someone will pop up for your monster turbo a few people on here have been talking about replacing with a big turbo...
How is WUF????

I might well be interested - need to check something first though, hopefully will be able to give a definitive answer tomorrow.

Jon - No hurry, its only advertised here.

Mark - No problem. WUF is good, although still needs a new ignition amplifier. I was planning to bring her down here to use as a day to day car but it just wasn't sensible. She's not exactly subtle to the eye, full of every electrical gadget known to man and also seems to flatten the battery in less than a week if left which doesnt suit my current once a week at most motoring habbits! She's better locked away safe and sound in her heated, carpeted garage until I have the time to concentrate my efforts on her.

p.s. extremely glad to hear you are enjoying your red mobile :)

This means either "I need to check with the wife" or "I need to check with the bank manager" ... :ROFLMAO:

You're just jealous because it won't fit your car!

But you're probably right...

Not jealous ... just comiserating ... same problems apply to S2 owners as well (the radio in mine is getting dodgier and dodgier, and I am wondering how nice a unit I can persuade the missis we need ... )

Oli,
Surf ebay until you can find a Becker, they look great and work well. They can still be had for decent money, I really like mine.

Hmmm... What's the hotside like on the turbo? Is it a #10?

No much smaller, I think its the same size hotside as the K26/8.

Simon - I'm not a great salesman I'm afraid and cant remember much about it, I bought it early this year and looked at masses of intercoolers before I found one that fited the space. It's obviously not an expensive intercooler but it looks like its had a bit more thought put into it than the really cheap ebay stuff. The end tanks are nicely shaped and tapered down etc. I've asked if someone can go and take a picture for me and email it to me so should hopefully have that tomorrow.

I'll look forward to seeing them. Im looking for an intercooler that can be fitted onto a 924S, and a 951 part isnt suitable: leaving me unsure which way to move. The 225bhp AUDI TTs use a pair of smaller intercoolers; and Id been considering these, although theyre far from ideal...

Photos are going to be a bit longer as someone shut the tailgate with the battery disconnected and its a lot harder to ask the keepers of my car to clamber through the interior, over all the boxes in the boot to re-connect it!

I'm not sure it would fit on a 924s unless you went for a crazy custom look with pipework and gaint intercooler sticking out the front (might look quite cool I suppose). The outside dimensions are approximitely 750x400x50mm as far as I can remember. It was designed to fit in this space:

Ben - for a variety of reasons I am going for a not-quite-as-big Turbo rather than your huuuuuge one - good luck with the sale.
