Audio Cable

Hi all

First post on this Forum. Just had my (almost) new 991 delivered today. What a fabulous car! No 6 for me and best yet.

Has anyone purchased an audio cable for an Ipod/Iphone connection? If so can you recommend one?

Thanks and regards

My understanding is that you should use the charging lead that comes with the Ipod. It plugs into the USB socket in the glove box.

Yup - just tried that and so it does!! The cable in my 997 was dual USB and 3.5mm jack so I assumed I would need the same in the 991. Thanks for the quick responses

Welcome to the fold Ellis, congratulations on the new motor, any pics and spec? Glad you've sorted the connection ok.

Peter, Many thanks. I got the car from Porsche Cardiff on Friday and I'm very pleased with it. A year old with just over 4,600 on the clock so barely run in.

The car basically ticked all the boxes for me. It has the usual extras such as Park Assist front and rear, PCM etc., plus Sports Exhaust and Sports Chrono plus, Sport Steering Wheel and Sports Seats. Really a delightful car and, having been driving it for the last couple of days, I'm quite taken aback at how different (in a good way) it feels to my previous two 997s. I think the link below should take you to a few pics. Look forward to participating in the Forum and perhaps even an event or two in the future.
