The next meeting will not take place at the Dun Cow but will be at the Derwent Manor Hotel in Allensford, postcode DH8 9BB start time 7.30 pm

This is so that we can have a CAR CLUEDO!!

Clue sheets and route instructions will be given out for what will be about a 40 mile round trip, taking between 1 and 1.5hrs. This is not a race and there are no prizes for the fastest time, just a run out around picturesque country roads. The answers will lead to a whodunnit, with what and why!

Answers will be marked on your return to the Derwent Manor Hotel, when we will have our usual meeting. They have kindly offered us their function room free of charge for this purpose. If you don't want to do the run then just come to the meeting which should kick off between 8.30 and 9.00 pm.

If you'd like to join in the fun, could you please add a line to this thread to give us an idea of numbers taking part.

Thanks very much to Deb Harm for organising this. See you there.

Sounds like fun, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it again as I am still working down in darkest Shropshire [:(]

Hi Julie

I would like to join you on the car cluedo. Also, would you be able to add me to the mailing list?

Thanks

Paul

HI paul

welcome!

I'd be happy to add you to the mailing list but the email supplied via the porsche club must be wrong as it keeps bouncing so please pm me with the real the email address, and i'll add you in and send you the last update. My internet has been down for a couple of days so a little late with responses!

cheers
Julie

Just enjoyed a great weekend at the Silverstone Classic. A good representation from R3, some even lucky enough to drive their cars around the new Silverstone Race Track.
Most of our members that I spoke to down there can make the Car Cluedo event so I've now got a better idea of numbers.
Would be lovely to see some new faces, but we need to know who's coming. We'll have to know how many route instruction sheets we need. Wouldn't want to be sending cars out on a drive without directions!

Hi Julie

Sounds like fun, can you add Lynn and I to the event too please, nice and close to home too!!

Thanks

Chris & Lynn

After some careful thought & rearrangements count myself & my Dad in, it's the day after his birthday so we will be up for the Cluedo run out :) !!!

Cheers Paul

Hi Julie/Greg,

I'll be there too. After my disappointing show in the driving observation test I'll have to keep my eyes open this time!

For anyone attending this meeting tomorrow, i have had a garage clearout today and will bring a couple of items with me in case any of you are interested in them, before i dispose of them.

There is a steering wheel lock free to a good home

And a battery conditioner full working order, for a bottle of sauvignon blanc!

Hope they will be of use to someone

Julie

Julie
What country do like your sauvignon blanc from! if you can hold on to it for me until September meet I will bring a bottle from my cellar

The steering lock has gone to you David, no problem

Graham

will hang on to the battery conditioner for you, and so long as its not spanish or italian i will drink most anything, - but i think you and Moira know that already!

Cheers
Julie

Sorry something has come up & won't be able to make it after all [:(]

A really great night, even the weather couldn't dampen our spirits or spoil the fun.

A big thank you to Greg and Deb for organising this, hopefully you won't be cited in too many divorce proceedings!!!

Our thanks too for a very enjoyable drive out (despite the weather) - must do the route again in the sunshine with the roof down !
However, we are still confused at why the goat had two legs and wings !

Chris and June

Was that the goat in the horse box?

Thanks for organising the route Greg and Deb.

Thanks to Julie for the Steering Lock!
