August pub night

The Dambusters inn at scampton is the venue of this meet. I think Gavin is putting another pub visit on in August hence the date of Tuesday 7th. The pub has a wealth of history associated to the nearby airfield and the famous Lancaster bombers of 617 Squadron in 1943 Which were based there. There is good beer and food available as well as many artifacts, pictures and paintings of the dambusters. Hope to see you all there
 
We will be getting there for 18:30 - 19:00 as we are eating. Food available to order up to 20:30. We tried the food here last week and were very impressed all home cooked and fresh. Good selection of real Ales on tap. See you there.
 
A great night Steve and a fine pub with lots to see. Better attendance last night but why can we not break through that barrier of 20 regulars. Come on R4, we have 150 members, 130 of you we never get to see; come along and support some of our activities.
 
Steve, Thanks for organsizing the pub night at the the Dambuster last night. A cracking location, and good to see the hard core members turn out again in force. As Gavin remarked, it would be great to see more R4 members attending these nights, as they really have been successful. Come on you guys, you're really missing out on something here.
