I have no idea who's mobile number that is, not mine though!

Paul - Seen your post on the 944 forum, how quickly are you looking to have the work carried out?

Not in a rush to have it done, but I've got time and it's an irritating fault. My father had suggested one in the Lang Stracht, but I thought it might be worth getting someone with 944 experience.

Mar, mine is a 2.5 Lux too. Have you had that car at Kirkhill Autos, and what did you get done if so...? Think mine might be immobiliser and/or ignition related

Taylors Auto Electrical in the Lang Stracht isnt too bad, but if you want a bit of a 944 specialist I know a man who can.

Drop me an email if you are interested. Only thing is, I know he wont be free till until the start of September.

Is that the chap in Fisherford (whose name and number I lost...?) Think I need him to sort my 996 out, it's been throwing check lights and I think it's going to be the variocam solenoid. If that is his lead time I better get in touch now I guess.

Paul,

All I've had done on the 944 there is sorting out electrical gremlins with the aerial and stereo along with wheel balancing. But over the years I've taken a number of cars there such as Jag XJS and Lancia Beta. They're also handy with working in Dyce! I was certainly going to take it there for a service in a few months.

Cheers, Mark.
