Dear fellow members
As you have hopefully read in Porsche Post (see 996 Register) we are organising a weekend oportunity for members to visit Porsche specialists AUTOFARM on Sat 2nd Feb 2013, kick starting PCGB celebrations of 50 years of 911 followed by the chance to make a PCGB weekend break in the Cotswold and visiting PCGB club office, Cornbury House (open day) the next morning (Sun 3rd) from 10am, with this in mind we are also adding a Saturday evening dinner for members to get together at the Five Alls PH/Restaurant (with 4 rooms to let) at Filkins near Burford, the chance is hence offered for shopping and sight seeing both near AUTOFARM at Bicester shopping village or the Cotswold wonderful locations of interest, all entirely up to the members wishes.
To book to attend the AUTOFARM visiit and or the saturday evening meal please email myself John McGirl on 996@porscheclubgb.com please make your own bookings for accommodation if you are staying in the Cotswoolds.
Our chairman Nick Hine is kindly hosting the table on the Saturday evening, I personally believe it will be a good weekend break in true PCGB enthusiastic style to start 2013 and the 50 year of 911 celebrations, please may I thank Derek Sharp for his input to date and recommedning the chosen restaurant for the saturday evening whereby we simply pay our own bill on the evening but of course exact numbers will be needed in advance provisionally, hence the request to book via myself please.
Have a great festive break and enjoy your family/friends celebrations but give your Porsche a run out on Xmas day morning!
best regards and I look forward to hear from you.
Best yuletide greetings
Johnny McGirl
PS Anticipated numbers are 50 member for AUTOFARM and 20 for saturday night dinner to date.
