Autosport 2010 - 996 or sensible car

Probably not the right place for this, but not sure where else to ask.
I am travelling to NEC on Saturday and not sure due to the snow whether to take the 996 or take the family car! Does anyone know what the roads are like round Birmingham to get into the NEC? I shall be travelling from the M40. I appreciate that there is likely to be more snow between now and Saturday, but some idea would be good.

I'm there on Thursday so I'll let you know what the car-parks are like after I've been [:D]
 
The snow ploughs were out at the NEC earlier in the week.
The roads on the site are all fine, not sure if they were doing the carparks or not...
