Autostrasse in Coggeshall, Essex

Hi,
Has anyone used Autostrasse in Coggeshall, Essex, for their car servicing?

Are they experienced with Porsche and do they offer a friendly service? Are their costs reasonable? Any down sides?

Thanks,
Noel

Just had a major service completed there. They even dropped me off and picked me up form the local staion. I'm happy with their work.

Prior to that I had some suspension noises. The guy there was very helpful and after a quick test drive, indentified the source (sway bar bracket failure). Didnt charge a penny for the diagnosis even though they wouldn't be doing the remedial work (they dont weld).

I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.

Hi Noel,

I fully recommend Ken and Alan for servicing. Friendly guys and very reasonable. As there is usually a two month wait when booking a service - i think this speaks for itself.

Graham,

If you ever fancy a run out, there's normally a Rennlist get together every so often.........

Just thought I'd give the heads up.

Ditto.

A great laugh and very knowledgeable. Great guys for older cars as they perhaps know more about them than your OPC will. Their rates are very good as well.

Beaky goes there fairly regularly but you do have to book well in advance - perhaps I'm shooting myself in the foot by recommending more people go there.[8|]

Hi Kevin,

Sounds good. I'm always seeing the local Scooby and TVR guys going out and it would be great to a drive out with some proper cars[:)]. I've never looked on Rennlist so i'll check it out but if you know of a date for a next outing can you email me on grharvey@bankofny.com. Cheers.
