Autothority chips

Looking at them on ebay(usa) and they work out at only 50 pounds. Has anyone else ever bought one and are they anygood ??

I have no personal experience but the Autothority chips are pretty 'old school' and were initially written last century (the copyright in the Ebay picture looks to be 1999) so will not be as good as the up to date offerings from the likes of Promax in this country.

Also I would be wary of buying a chip designed for US cars with US fuel and emissions in mind

I didnt think they would be up to much but thought it might be worth a look. Do promax sell just the chips or do you need to get the level 1 complete kit ??

The website only shows the chips coming with the kit so you'd best call to confirm. Alternatively I do believe that Jon M sells a chipset as a seperate entity so try www.jmgarage.com
