AV8

Hi guys, I see R16 is meeting at our airfield. [:D] on the first Sunday in Feb, for breakfast at the Cotswold Airport AV8 diner. This a normally a good event, good brekkie, cheap price and lots to see. Su & I often turn up. Fancy joining us?

I could arrange another visit to the vintage/military hangar sometime, but sadly the Bristol museum we visited a year or so ago closed. Still, plenty of fast jets to see in the hangar.

Photoshoot at the Britannia is always a good idea, very photogenic. Bit short notice for a mega visit to C2 Aviation to look around the Lighting, Canberras, Hunters and Dakota etc, but I can fix later in the year if you wish.

Mavis and I intend to go.
Just one thought, just in case the AV8 could be crowded and to prevent waiting, can you work your magic with them and organise a priority list for pre ordering?
Geoff

This will be the first of a regular breakfast meet at the AV8, we feel that it will be good to show a presence in that area of our region as our monthly evening venue is just off the M5.

At this first meet we will come up with some ideas and see what people are interested in doing bearing in mind that it will also be the day of HQ Open Sundays when they have them.

The AV8 is open from 09.00 but Elaine and myself will be there from 10.00.

For anyone that has not been there before you can find the website here

A very good turn-out despite rather 'brass-monkey' weather. Good to see some other cars next to my 'van' [:D]
