I want to put a picture in my avatar but when i try to upload it says that the file size is too big. Any ideas how to make it smaller ???

Use a graphics package - photoshop, gimp [:)] or even paintbrush. Save it as a jpg at the correct size (145 x 145 pixels). If you want to send it to me I could resize it for you.

Can I send SWMBO round? I've tried the hammer technique but she still won't re-size correctly [:)]

Hello random hero,
I beg to differ with you, you can hit a computer with a big hammer, I have done just that. Whilst it gives you a great deal of satisfaction it doesn't actually make the computer work, in fact the opposite is true.[:)][:)]
Cheers,

You Cant beat a good hammer ,i took the roof off a 944 with a hammer and chisel and took the front end off then the rear and was left with the floor so it would fit in a van. A sad end to a nice car but LOADS OF FUN !!!
