Awesome Norwegian Roads

Hi ... just thought I'd upset you all in blighty to say we've been having lovely sunny weather 22 / 23 degress all week in Norway. Shame I've had to work all day, but last night took the 996 out for a 100km spin round some southern Norwegian roads ... awesome roads and scenery !

Smooth tarmac, virtually no other traffic in sight and wonderful 'B' road stuff - think I'll need a new set of brake pads when I get home :) ... here's a typical one ...

... leaving tomorrow afternoon for trip back via denmark, germany and holland.

P.S. Do you like my home made light deflectors - the template I dowloaded off Renntech seemed to blank out much too much light. So I spent 30 minutes walking up and down the road toward the car with its lights on (as if I was an oncoming motorist) working out just which bit shines up in the oncoming drivers eyes. The passers by in Denmark must have thought I was bonkers. Haven't been flashed once, so think its about right ... now must get back to the work I came here for ....

Good to see you're enjoying the car Martin. Always brings a smile on my face when using it as intended. Roll on September when I plan to do a trip to France for exactly that [:D]

Nice photos - it looks like a stunning spot. The weather here has been bl**dy awful this week.

BTW, anyone else notice Martin has a BLACK Carrera badge? I thought they were silver on silver cars.........[8|] [8|]
