Been in touch with OPC, they want the car for the whole day! Obviously not something anyone would nick, so where' dit go?!

That missing bit has got to be the hardest bit to clean on the whole car.. at least you'll end up with a clean new one.
A whole day!! I think they must be thinking the exhaust is possibly sat wrong and knocked it out ..

Those tips look mighty clean, mine are a distinct blue [:D]

I'm actually worried that someone has bumped it when it was parked, and it's popped out other than it just dropping out, it's the only other thing I can think of. If that was the case though there would be a mark, or a graze on the pipe - but there's nothing at all. I'm going to be very interested how the OPC play this one. If it's fallen out it's a warranty replacement, if they decide it was knocked out then I'm not only going to get stung for the part, the labour, (probably to take the whole bumper off to investigate) and half a tank of fuel to get it there and back.

Bloody annoying!

if the car was alarmed at the time the knock sensor would of set the alarm off ( if the knock was hard enough ) i would check to see if all you exhaust hanger bushes are still in good shape it`s more lickely to be as above a alignment problem....
