As for fitting it, it just attaches to the seatbelt in the normal way. No attachment brackets or anything else neded. In order to get the seatbelt to go round it, I have to push the passenger seat right back, but that's all.
Another good thing about it is that it's a nice red colour that matches the car []

- [FONT=arial"]IT HAS ITS OWN BUILT IN 4 POINT HARNESS AS OPPOSED TO THE PRINCE POLYSTYRENE PICNIC TRAY TYPE THING
- [FONT=arial"]IT CAN BE USED FORWARD AND REARWARD FACING
- [FONT=arial"]IT IS MORE COMFORTABLE FOR YOUR LITTLE ONE TO SIT IN ON A JOURNEY(WE HAD TO SELL OUR PORSCHE PRINCE FOR THIS VERY REASON)
It is thinly padded and hard compared to some of the newer (and larger) modern seats. The lower part can be used as a booster without the back part.

I then looked on the Brittax website and they had a car selector which still had the 944 and 968 listed (it doesn't anymore) and the seat it had listed was no longer in their current range and was discontinued. However I did find a guy on ebay selling brand new end of line stock so I bought one. However even though the seat was listed as being suitable for both rear and front seats I cannot install in the rear satisfactorily. Modern child seats seem to rely on the compresstion of the seat to tension the seatbelt and firmly fix the seat in position without any movement. You cannot do this with the rear seats as they have no or little padding so there is slack. I wasn't happy with this as there is precious little room back there and in a crash the baby would probably hit the rear of the front seats before the seatbelt arrested the forward motion due to the slack in the seat belt. I now just use the seat in the front passenger seat and it is fine. In fact my daughter loves going in the Porsche.
I can't remember the model name of the seat i've got. I'll take a look and let you know for reference.
I have a Mothercare one in the front now (I have no airbags), he's been using that since he was about 9mths. For forward facing seats in the front as long as it isn't an isofix one I found the base & back were narrow enough to fit between the bolsters so there's plenty of choice. No chance of getting anything I tried in the back, not even close.
