Can anyone recommend a forward facing baby seat for a 10 month old (10 kilos) who has outgrown his rearward facing aspect in my 996.
Thanks
Hugh

From what i can see on here people are recommending the mamas and papas protec as a good fit in aporsche, i have yet to go and test one yet as my little one is not quite big enough

Just fitted the M and P Pro-tec to my 996 cab. A good fit and the unique way the belt is routed works perfectly.

I fitted a Protec last month for my 7 month old son.

Cheapest places are www.glasgowpramcentre.co.uk and
www.babys-mart.co.uk

Use the latter if you need the Tec Noir in grey.

If you're a bit tall you might need to take
out [FONT=arial"]the rear seat back and base to give an extra couple of inches. I'm a short-arse at 5' 7 so he just about fits behind my seat without any problems.

Also use some cardboard to protect the leather if you leave the base and seat back in place.

Regards,

Garry

Just fitted a Maxi-Cosi Tobi in mine - fits like a dream and is much better than the M&P as it has spring-loaded straps.

Going for the M and P Protec for the 996 and have removed the seat base and back to give a bit more head/leg room all round. First trip will be to Aberdeenshire at the weekend to try it out.
Thanks for all advice, very quick and helpful as ever.
Hugh
