Hi N,

What type of baby seat are you talking about? Rear or Forward facing?

I have the Porsche ISOFIX Junior car seat which is forward facing and fits using the normal 3-point car seat in the front or back of a 996.

We also have a BebeConfort ISOSIS, but that doesn't fit very well. The main problem isn't room, but the way the rear seat belt buckle is fixed to the center tunnel, it means your limited to the type of car seat (avoiding putting sideways pressure on the seat belt buckle).

Have a look through a thread I posted to a while back.

Baby seats in a 996 There's also a link in the thread to an old post of mine on another forum worth looking at.

I've now got two M&P Pro-Tec in the back. One with a 3 year old in and one with a 10 month old in. I've also now removed the bottom seat cushions and added seat protectors over the seat backs to cover the leather.

It's also relatively simple to completely remove the seat backs to gain a bit more leg room for them but I haven't had to go that far yet.

Thanks folkes, I have the standard isofix seat thats forward facing in my Cayman. My understanding was that this could not go in the rear of the 996 as there are no ISOFIX points. Is this correct ? I guess I should go and read the instructions but I thought I might just get a quicker response here [:D]

Cheers
