I sold my last 944 a couple of years ago, but came across a real bargain so have just become the owner of a 1997 944s in Metallic Gunmetal Grey.
I got it for next to nothing, and it does need a couple of jobs on it, so was wondering if any of you fine chaps had any of the following bits hanging about....

Rear seats in Cream half leather
The hook thingies that hold the sun visors in place.
rear boot liner
.
.
.
.
.any idea how to shut the passenger window that the previous owner told me not to open as it doesnt work.....

1997 wow a whole 5 years after they stopped production lol[:D] (sorry couldn't resist). I have a 'mushroom' full leather back seat if by cream you mean the darker cream?

The only way I know of securing the window up is with the regulator assy which is driven up by the motor. Unless you are planning on using gaffer tape.

How much you want for it?

I don't want any money for it if you can collect from Northampton (home) or Manchester (cars current residence) but you'd have to wait a few weeks as its currently in my car and the new seats are in the boot. I will be seeing it next in mid June. So can get them out then.

Manchester would be perfect as Im only 20 miles or so from there... Mid june is fine too - I can manage until then with two seats!
Want me to pm you with my details?

Yeah thanks it'll save me trawling through to find this thread when the seats come out. I'll save your no. as 944 seats guy and it'll be easy to find when the time comes.

FWIW (although it sounds like you may have a better option already), I have a linen half-leatherette half-pinstripe rear seat which is available. Snag is that it is in London and hence would be a bit of a trip for you to collect.

Linen is the dark cream colour. Similar in colour to that of a very very milky coffee.

Linen is light - Light Grey (AKA grey-beige) is darker. A 1987 car will have a light grey interior, not linen. People confuse them, usually referring to early Light Grey as Linen, but theyre very different when compared side-by-side.

Im looking for a vinyl rear squab in Light Grey btw.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification Simon.

My interior is linen ('89 car), and hence the rear seat is the wrong one.

Does anyone have a colour sheet for the options that were available? Out of a brochure or something?
