Silly question heres me happy at buying a CS and the missus is already bending my ear about the lack of seats for the ankle biters, ooops[>:]

So where can I get a rear seat from, just for the odd trip you understand so will need to be easily removed for trackday mode, I can't have too much weight slowing me down through the corners [;)]

Cheers

If you got a seat & trim from a breakers, how would you get the little darling(s) in and out with non folding seats in the way? Only way would be to 'post' them through from the rear hatch.

Ah-ha but I know something you don't [8D] the buckets are on sliders which allow them to slide fully forwards allowing enough room for two little-uns to squeeze in. Don't know if they're all like this, but this one is.

However I do like the posting them thro the back idea :ROFLMAO:

PS Hopefully should see you on the 28th if I'm allowed out to play, I take it there is a thread somewhere with details ?

Mike, the rear seat bases should still be there under the board with the speakers on it. As I understand it, you can just remove the board and bolt some seat backs in place. Try a breaker like Porsch-Apart (01706 824053) - any 944 rear seat back should do the job. Should be able to sort you out with some seat belts also.

Incidentally, the rear seat deletion probably doesn't save any weight. The rear seats were 'boarded up' as it's not legal to sell a two-door car with rear seats unless the fronts recline. The seat back weighs less than 10kg from memory, so probably not much more than the board/shelf thing.

Cool, thanks for that Alex I'll ring them tomorrow and find out what the score is [:)]
