Hey all,

i am trying to help Back-Up-Trust Scotland with their forthcoming charity night ! Which will be held at the Scottish National Museum on Thursday 13th March. Jonathan from the Thursday Dakota meets has sent me the following details and i am looking for people to commit to attending.

Tables are for 10 people and are £100 head, includes champagne reception and dinner. Afterwards we are planning a bit of a night out at Tiger Lilly/Lulu. A few of us are stopping over in Edinburgh that night also.

I have 6 people confirmed and need four others. I have emailed the regulars from the meets and also posting on here.

I need confirmation if you are wishing to attend by midday Friday this week.
Mail me at scottlaurie@dsl.pipex.com or call me on 07971 664 647

Prizes for auction include:

Rio Prestige Day

12 people will meet at Dakota, Edinburgh for breakfast and briefing
during the week, dates to be confirmed. Following a safety brief they will
take part in a tour through Perthshire in 6 cars Gallardo, Ferrari 360,
Porsche 911, Aston Martin AMV8, TVR Tuscan and Spyker). The 12 guests will
swap between cars and enjoy an all inclusive lunch. The donation is for two
people. I think this will do quite well.

The venue is at the Scottish National Museum which having visited it
looks like a great venue. The evening includes a champagne reception, wine
and three course dinner. The format is a dinner with some guest speakers,
charity auction and the comedian will be Susan Morrison. Susan is the Talk
107 DJ on the morning show and also is the main MC at the Edinburgh Comedy
Club.

Its my wifes 30th on the 10th March and we are more than likely going to be away so i doubt i could make it.

Great idea and good cause with a great prize auction from Rio prestige. This is hopefully something that we will be doing more of as a club.
