I am trying to remove the badge panel on my s2 to check the air filter element.I have removed the screws along the back,the four nuts in front of the lights and the two spire clip bolts at the outer edge of the panel. the panel should now slip out towards the front but mine will not any ideas or advice would be great, many thanks.

hi yes 4 screws at the top .then put the headlights up pull the rubbers out theres 4 small 8mm nuts.and 2 near the wing also some screws on the inside of the badge pannel near the filter.hope this helps you out..carl

From the headlight wells towards the centre there might also be 2 screws (1 each side), my turbo still has them but many cars dont as they are hard to replace,

Thanks for that, I did not know about the two self tappers in the headlight well ,removed them and out it came,bonus, found a spare screw that some fitter had dropped at sometime, no trouble replacing the screws thanks to snap- on screw holder everyone should have one, thanks again.
