I've developed a squeal/howl from the rear brakes. Handbrake shoes or caliper not releasing?
More alarmingly theres a clunking/rattling noise coming from the rear. Only just started tonight. It picks up speed as the car picks up speed (if that makes any sense) Sounds like the back box of the exhaust, except it disappears when I dip the clutch so it most likely isn't? With this sound could it possibly be anything to do with the clutch or drivetrain? I've never heard a tinny rattle from a drivetrain before [&o]. It sometimes disappears of its own accord.
My 3 year old wanted to know what the hazard warning switch was (whilst we were driving). I told him I would show him when we got home. I've never tested the hazards since I bought the 44 a couple of weeks back. I pushed the switch in only for it to vanish into the dashboard somewhere! I just started laughing. The previous week the (none working motor) drivers side window motor switch vanished into the door panel!

On a plus note I think I've finaly fixed the heater. But I've taken two steps back. Its just like a challenge, isn't it?
