Banning cars 10 years and over

Done mine.

My S2 is nearly 18 years old and my wife's Merc is 10 next year but she has only done 60K mies in it [:'(].

done it
my 944 S2 is 16 years old and my dad's rover is about 11 years old and he needs his for work and he can't afford a newer car anyway

My Lux is 21 this year and has covered 144,500miles and is as strong as ever, I'd like to see a modern eurobox last that well!!

I smell another stealth tax here. Brown obviously wants to rake in a bit more on VAT against the increase in new car sales. I've signed up for what it's worth!

I suspect the goverment are trying to stamp out the idea of people buying older cars as they are exempt from car tax.

Yes but when they brought in the exemption didn't they then back track and restrict it to 1973 or some similar data i.e. was supposed to be cars over 25 yrs old ISTR.

The petition is way off the mark. If I find the articles posted somewhere else on the forum I will link them through.

over my dead body.! I'd like to see the person that stops me driving my 944s2 on the road.

We'll all end up driving our classics at night time like that sci-fi movie lol
