Barbeque at Rutland Water - Saturday 12th August 2006

Hi Everyone,

The barbeque is nearly upon us. The venue is at Sykes Lane car park at Rutland Water. Located along the A606 between Oakham and Empingham the car park is the nearest to Empingham village. There is a nominal charge for parking.

Enter the car park keeping to the left. The nicest area to park is along the left hand side facing the reservoir.

The format of the day is to enjoy a scenic drive around Rutland Water. Perhaps visit Stamford. Meeting up at Sykes Lane around 2pm.

Bring your own provisions and a throw away barbeque and get cooking.

There is no need to organise anything.
