Great to see it's gone to a good home, and congrats on living near enough to make it worthwhile!

I posted elsewhere that I would defo buy it for spares if it were closer but others disagreed with me , its gone so clearly someone else agrees []
Mas
How can anyone disagree that it wasnt worth the asking price twice over for parts? 944s seem to attract some people with a lot of enthusiasm but little real grasp of the facts...
David, I have not forgotten about the trim parts, all the ones I have found so far have been pretty much past it!
The car has a bridge spoiler and an LSD, LSD turbo boxes are worth 6 to 700 quid minimum, I don't know what some poeople think these cars are worth but they don't come much cheaper. The car is worth more in parts but it would be very wrong to strip it rather than return it to the road! Looking forward to getting it next week anyway, need to get my S2 back together again before touching it though, it currently has no water pump on the front and a set of ARB bushes and pair of castor mounts waiting to be fitted!

PS the clock and clock bulb even works as well!!!
PPS The seller said it was a comfort interior but it has nice sport seats in it, it also has nice big M030 brakes on the front as well, both were pleasant surprises!

Well gents, picked the car up tonight and what a bargain it is.
don't think we need you to rub it in any more! [

Car is pretty solid, needs a right good good clean inside and out. Wheels really need a refurb as pretty grotty. One of the tensioners is squeaking a bit so will do the pump, belts and rollers in the one hit! New disks all round and it should be good to go for an MOT. Engine bay is very good but very dusty, nothing a good steam clean will not cure. It also has the ubiquitous oil leak from the cork gasket at the back of the cam box! The 10 speaker system seems to all work anyway too, all electrics work including the sunroof (has the bag too!) but both fog lamp lenses have lumps out of them. Engine nice and quiet too.
