Sometimes you do things you know you'll regret - but you have to do them anyway.
After 11 years the RS is for sale at Autofarm - no I don't want to talk about it!

Tony

Let TS know. He can get it trailored back to DE with the yellow one. [&:][][&o][&o]

P.S. You have come over to the pre-74 dark side.......its a slippery slope where everything modern suddenly all looks $hit!!!

Its BARGAIN.....really gets on my **** that![:D][:D][;)]

I assumed an intelligent bloke like Tony, who compiled and edited the 15 Year Book typed 'Bargin!' on purpose. [:D]

That was before he moved to the Classic Darkside. From now on he will be unshaven, communicate with grunting, drink twice as much beer and change his underwear only once a week.

He will be too busy driving now to care about details :)

Bugger, that's too close to the truth Jason for what was a simple keyboard error, I was probably just misting up at the time!

Will also refuse to pay any road tax and lick the road in winter to check if any salted grit has been put down overnight....

What do you have planned for the white car - something similar to mine that went on to be the orange RSR rep of Dan's ?

Silver surely??[;)]

Silver Definitely!
Wouldn't presume to build an RSR until I've got twin plug ignition, high injection stacks and some of those 917 style brakes!

In the meantime, keeping it simple, narrow arches, diet everywhere (well the car not me!) Kumho's etc. Might have a set of S calipers for sale as well, look nearly new (unlikely, probably refurbed).

Tony

I understand....

The pre 74s are dangerous for every petrolhead, hard to resist. Good luck with the sale, keep us posted about your project, please.

P. S.: Steve McQueen´s car is for sale in August, the one from the first minutes of the movie Le Mans....

[;)] Ah! lovely - such great scenes on the movie - I'd love a nice road S......

Sad to hear you're moving on but you are moving to a good place. Strangely I bought my RS all those years ago because I couldn't find a good enough 2.4S. I seriously considered a nice pale yellow car that was slightely modded and was supposedly an ex-Ziggi Brun car. Car inspected for me by Neil Bainbridge and given clean bill of health but I remember sensing that some corrosion issues might be imminent.

Anyway, I am happy that I went down the RS route. Just wanted to thank you for all your contributions and wish you well with the new car.

Ian

Thanks Ian. Will still be hanging out here, still got the book update to get out. Might be spending time blagging rides in RS's too.
