Hi all. Having recently completed the purchase of a 993 Cab I am considering changing the wheels to the 17 inch Sport Classic wheel type which I understand was a factory option at the time. I have 3 questions. 1. Can anyone recommend a good source of supply? 2. Is there anything specific I need to be aware of when buying these? 3 If anyone has these wheels fitted to their 993 and don't mind sharing pics of their car I would be most grateful? Many thanks in advance. Kind regards.

Exactly what I had on my cab a few years ago. I loved the look! Unfortunately I haven't got a side shot of the car but hopefully this gives you a good feel for what they look like! I still miss the wind in your hair but luckily replaced it with a 993 turbo!

Neil many thanks. Your former car looks great with those wheels! Did you source them or were they on the car when you bought it?

Barry - welcome to the forum/club and congratulations on finding a 993.

I've not seen those wheels before but looking at images on google I think they look good on both cabs and coupes - fill the tyres well.

Some are on eBay but I see people saying "for 993/996/Boxster" - I suspect (not sure) that different models required different offsets. Make sure you check offsets required for 993 cab match the wheels you are buying.

Mark, many thanks for the advice. Yes, will check the offsets first. Apart from the used sets on EBay the only retailer I can see selling them new is Alloy Wheels Direct so it’s hard to make price comparisons!
