basalt black bonnet?

I'm looking for a Basalt black bonnet (can be from anything) to practise rotary polishing, polishes etc on and was wondering if anyone knew where to find one? Doesn't have to be fit to put on a car, just as long as theres plenty of decent laquered bits to play with. Can handle slight creases and kinks etc. thanks.

Sorry, don't know where to find one but just curious on why Basalt Black only for the practise?

its because different polishes have different effects with different colours (depth of shine, wettness etc), hence i'd know what works best with my car and i could also practice touch ups with wet sanding etc as well.

no problems, the word is pinnacle soverign (sp), poorboys natty blue and zymol royale/titanium are all good but i'll let you know when i discover it for myself

There's normally a Boxster bonnet or boot lid on ebay - you might be lucky this month and find a black one

unfortunately not making much progress though!! Found/been offered a solid black one and the other one i wanted was midnight blue, so maybe getting closer!
