Basic mods - for example..

Seems every 964 I see has basic upgrades to cup one's and 993 mirrors and its the first basic desirable on the list. I presume it's just that flags and dial wheels date the car, am I alone in thinking they actually look quite good [;)]

The mirrors were around on the 964s before the 993 and the cup wheels were an option on the 964. So they're perfectly 'period' in my book. [:)]

Cup wheels and Tear drop mirrors are a desirable mod and as Steve said a factory option anyway. If you prefer the Design 90 wheels and Flag mirrors, then that's for you. These days, there seems a demand for originality, so with those standard wheels and mirrors you can be happy that your car is in its original form - and if you prefer them anyway, you win all round!

Well it serves me right... First time I mention mods and the guy selling the nicest C2 I've seen in years has withdrawn the car as he is too attached [&o] although I must admit it was pristine and he mothered it I'm still gutted.
