BaT trackday Spa

yesterday I attended the BaT trackday at Spa... it was 3 years ago since I last let out the RS at Spa. I was a bit concerned about the Michelin cups (which are already for 3 years on the car) but they did fine!

Fastest time of the day was a 2'55... couldn't beat my personal best of 2'54 in the past... will be down to the old Michelins I guess.

little video chasing a fast friends' GT3:

It took me a while before taking Radillon in a decent way... I used to drive the GT3 most of the time and the old 964RS I a lot more understeering... at Radillon I have to turn the wheel a tat too early in order to get the car where I want. The 964RS steering is also a lot less directt than a GT3's... takes some time to adapt ;)

That's really a good pace, but I havent looked at the vid yet, but 55s is damn quick I'd say. Sounds like you know what you are doing, but the understeer, can probably be tuned by setup? Either rake or ARB settings.

I'd figure at that pace, you probably know this already though.

Yes that's a really good time --- I believe the qualifying time for the 964 Cup cars was 2.47 ??

thanks :) ... don't know the qualifying times at Spa of the 964 cup in the early '90ies but it will be something like that
