Battery Carrera

Hi all, some help please. My Carrera 4S does not like being left for a couple of weeks at a time. The battery goes flat and the tracking company can read the power level.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so, how do I resolve it? The dealer isn't sure. It's a 2010 convertible model.

Cheers

Jon- try posting this on the 991 part of the forum and you may hopefully get more response[;)]

Hi Jon - if you want a meaningful reply, I suggest you post in the right part of the forum not 3.2 carrera which covers 911s from 1984-1988.

Sounds like something on the car is slowly draining the battery - maybe a faulty alarm/immobiliser system - but I'm not the one to help as my Porsche is from 1988 and not 2010.............

Hi Jon , new to forum but I have 2010 997 , had new battery fitted last year , disappointed that it failed so quickly on well used car had 25 K on when replaced , and not covered by used Porsche warranty.

Since replaced has been Ok , if you dont have warranty , Costco great source batteries.

Hope u get sorted.
