Hi Luke I have been using a ctek on my turbo for the past 6 years. Think it's the 3600 works a treat! Steve

Cheers guys thats great. And it's ok to use re lighter Socket? Just purchased a 996 Turbo X50 and its only going to be used a few thousand miles a year. Regards Luke

Yeah plugs right in! Think we've done 4k in the pas 6 years! Turns on the button every time. The lighter extension is extra but only a few quid!!

Ctek 3600 is a good unit, had one for 3 years now, prefered the direct connection route, added a short extention to one wire so the connector sits just outside the battery cover. Easy to connect up when car is tucked up in the garage, connector is passed under rear of bonnet - simple.

Thank you both thats great thats what i will purchace. Steve i think i will only be doing about 2 k a year in it so it will probably be used a little like yours. Thanks again Luke

Hi Guys. Just a quick question - could anyone confirm that you can trickle charge all 996's including Turbos via the cigarrette lighter and also
what would be the best charger to buy?

Kind regards

Luke
