Battery issue

I've had the boxster in the garage and out of the cold for a few months now, but although the CTEK has been connected there is not enough ooomph to turn the engine over. It started last month, but no longer. New battery? Any suggestions? Thanks

Just a thought Kevin, but have you checked to make sure that the CTEK is working properly? If you've got a proper battery charger that can give a decent amperage I'd give that a try.

Do you get any indication that the engine is actually cranking? It could be a dead battery, a faulty starter motor or just an earthing fault. Maybe a faulty ignition switch if you're not getting anything?

Thanks Jeff, I just started using the CTEK last year and it's been ok so far, but I suspect the battery may be on it's last legs. I'll check your other suggestions though. Thanks again.

I had this it turned out the battery was faulty in the end, I replaced the battery
