Battery recommendation(s)...

I regularly use a trickle charger and regularly (3-5 times a week) drive my 996. However, I'm aware that the battery is not performing as well as it could/should be. The car is now 18 years old and whilst I'm sure it's not on it's original battery I haven't replaced it in my 6 years of ownership. Does anyone have any recommendations as to brand/type of battery and the best place to source it?

I have a Bosch S4 010 , probably 6 to 7 years old and due for replacement, it doesn’t like the current cold weather ! Car only used twice a week maximum and i never use a battery conditioner.
replacement will come from whoever is the least expensive !

Great price.

Mine is a good 7+ years old & connected to a C-tek whenever not in use for a few days or more....

I won’t buy branded batteries from Amazon or EBay anymore. A local motor factor told me about fake bosch once. Not sure if he was spinning me a yarn to get a sale or not.

Heard Tanya was a good source for batteries ,the 987 Spyder gave up after 10yrs it was a Banner original went for an Exide this time supply and fit and codes cleared at local indy £128
