Had to remove the battery this evening to charge it up (BTW, think its had it - any recommendations other than the Bosch Silver or Vartas). Put key in ignition and turned electrics on so that the alarm didn't go wild when I disconnected the battery. All this went to plan, battery out ok but when I came to lock the car, I found the central locking had left the passenger door unlocked. I got round this by slinging in a spare battery to provide current to the car, then locking and alarming as normal.
The only way I could think of to get round this problem in future would be to unlock the car, key in the ignition, lock the central locking via the dashboard button, disconnect the battery and get out. Would this work or is there another trick or do I just need a spare battery on hand??
Cheers
